History Class Came Early this Year and Nasir Jones is the Author with his release of ‘Nasir’

Nas aka Nasir Jones dropped his 11th album last night under the Queensboro Bridge at his official listening party, only blocks from the Queensbridge Houses where he grew up.
The 7 track album opens with some classic samples which Kanye alerted us to back in April.

You can IMMEDIATELY hear Yeezy’s influence throughout the album. Starting with “Cops” where he samples Slick Ricks ‘Children’s Story’ and collectively talks about the disparity between “Black” & “White” kids.
